Lone Peak High School student campers are grateful for the shelter on a cold rainy morning!
Each year since 2005, the Preserve and the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation have hosted 50 youth from Montana and beyond for the Jack Creek Youth Camp. The camp is held on the Preserve, in a large meadow easily accessed by an old logging road. There are adjacent streams, springs, and ponds, as well as trails connecting the site to all four corners of the Preserve and the adjacent Lee Metcalf Wilderness.
This spectacular resource is available to groups who would like to use it for experiential outdoor educational events. We can help by providing not only the location, but additional resources and program assistance as needed.
