
Outdoor learning can be anchored by the Con-Ed Center
A core part of our mission is to provide educational opportunities to the public. To expand our efforts, the Foundation plans to build a Conservation Education Center on the Preserve property. The "Con-Ed Center" will be a place where students, teachers, land managers, scouting groups, regional visitors, and many others can gather to learn and explore.
The Center will serve as the educational nucleus of the Preserve’s activities. It will offer exhibits on conservation, habitat protection, wildlife management, and the role of hunters as conservationists. It will be the trail head for interpretive nature trails to high alpine habitat, sage meadows and willow creek bottoms. Donations are now being accepted to make this vision a reality.
