Description: The Jack Creek Preserve Foundation Property Manager will conduct the property management at the Preserve’s Outdoor Education Center (OEC), cabins, and camp area, including general maintenance of grounds and buildings. The Property Manager will work closely with the Executive Director in all tasks. The schedule will vary and weekend work may be required.

Duties and responsibilities:

Become familiar with (be point of contact) and maintain the following in all buildings (or work with service providers): o   Electrical o   Water (well, cistern, filters) o   Solar system o   Generator o   Hot water heater o   Fire suppression system o   Commercial kitchen stove and refrigerator o   Pest control o   Provide fire wood for cabins o   Winterize all buildings o   Truck o   UTV o   Fire extinguisher

May include grounds upkeep: o   Mowing o   Assisting with archery target set up and storage o   Invasive weed control o   Trail and road maintenance

Additional Duties: o  Work with the Executive Director to address any repairs or assist in updates. o  Provide trash removal as needed after hosting groups. o  Monitor snow loads on the roofs and decks and respond as necessary o  Coordinating snow removal at the OEC and maintaining the parking area o  Shoveling OEC deck and walkway

 Qualifications:

o Basic carpentry experience with a working knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and painting. o Self-starter able to work independently, with the ability to work in diverse environments. o Ability to respond to “after-hours” maintenance emergencies in a timely manner.
