Elk Hunt Raffles


SUPPORT OUR MISSION OF CONSERVATION EDUCATION

This year we are holding a raffle for a 2027 only 6-day archery elk hunt and a 2027 only 6-day rifle elk hunt. Our raffles are important fundraisers for our conservation education programs, allowing us to keep our programming accessible and affordable for all.

2027 6-DAY ARCHERY ELK HUNT

  • 2027 ONLY, NOTE: This hunt is not transferable to another year. Non-resident hunters are only eligible for this hunt if they apply and receive a non-resident elk license for 2027 (must apply by April 1, 2027).

  • Unguided archery elk hunt in Hunt District 360

  • $75/ticket (Up to 20 tickets per person)

  • Only 200 tickets sold

  • Winner gets access to Jack Creek Preserve’s 4500-acre property located between Ennis and Big Sky, MT. Also access to 2 rustic cabins on the property.

  • Drawing will take place October 23, 2026, at the Ennis Hunter’s Feed and will be announced on social media and this webpage.


2027 6-DAY RIFLE ELK HUNT

  • 2027 ONLY, NOTE: This hunt is not transferable to another year. Non-resident hunters are only eligible for this hunt if they apply and receive a non-resident elk license for 2027 (must apply by April 1, 2027). 

  • Unguided rifle elk hunt in Hunt District 360

  • $100/ticket (Up to 20 tickets per person)

  • Only 200 tickets sold

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

What can I win? Access to the private 4500-acre Jack Creek Preserve for:

  1. 2027 6-day archery elk hunt (valued at $8,000)

  2. 2027 6-day rifle elk hunt (valued at $12,000)

    The winner will be the only hunter on the property at that time. You can have up to two non-hunting guests accompany you and will have access to two rustic cabins for your base camp. The Preserve also provides convenient access to the Lee Metcalf Wilderness.

How much do tickets cost?

  1. 2027 6-day archery elk hunt $75/ticket, 200 tickets sold, maximum 20 tickets/person

  2. 2027 6-day rifle elk hunt $100/ticket, 150 tickets total sold, maximum 10 tickets/person

    Eligible payments include debit cards online, cash, and check. (Make checks out to Jack Creek Preserve Foundation and mail to PO Box 3, Ennis, MT 59729).

What am I supporting? By purchasing a raffle ticket, you are furthering conservation education. Learn more here!

When will tickets be drawn? Both tickets will be drawn on October 23, 2026, at the Ennis Hunter’s Feed and will be announced on social media and this webpage.

What am I responsible for? You will be responsible for your own transportation, meals, and hunting licensing. Understand your state laws regarding raffle tickets. While the raffle ticket may be purchased by persons of any age, MT state hunting laws apply to the hunter. 

NOTE: This hunt is not transferable to another year. Non-resident hunters will need to apply and receive a non-resident elk license for 2027 to be eligible for these hunts (must apply by April 1, 2027).
