Archery Skills camp: July 23-26
Description: Archery Skills camp is a great option for future hunting conservationists, archery enthusiasts, or those wanting to build on their existing archery skills. During the Archery Skills Camp, campers will work towards a Bowhunter Education Certification too! Campers will learn skills such as shot placement, equipment care, tree stand set up, and will have plenty of opportunities to shoot bows. Campers will also learn about the importance of hunting ethics, wildlife management, conservation, and field dressing techniques and gain skills in compass use, wilderness first aid awareness, and backcountry preparedness. This camp is 4 days, 3 nights and is open to ages 11-16. Come shoot a bullseye at Archery Skills Camp!

Outdoor Skills Camp: July 31-August 2
Description: Great for first time campers or those wanting to experience a bit of everything! Campers can try out many different outdoor activities such as archery, fly casting, wilderness first aid awareness, and hiking. In addition, campers will learn about topics like bear awareness, wildlife management, backcountry preparedness, conservation, noxious weeds, water ecology, and Leave No Trace. It is a fun-filled 3 days open to camper’s ages 11-16 who are excited to be outside learning, exploring, and making new friends!

Fly Fishing Skills Camp: August 15-16
New this year, our Fly Fishing Skills Camp is for beginner anglers ages 14-16 who are looking to build their casting skills, knowledge of fly fishing ethics and gear, and meet like-minded friends! This is a 2-day, 1-night camp over a weekend. Campers will practice casting, fly tying, fishing moving and still water, proper fish handling etiquette, and learn about the insects behind the flies.

The cost of this camp is $200 per camper which includes all meals, instruction and activities, equipment, and lodging. Scholarships are available through our scholarship application on the same registration form.

MANDATORY FORMS FOR ALL CAMPS
Must be read, filled out, and submitted before arriving to Camp.
The Information packet contains directions, what to bring, behavioral expectations, etc. You will receive links to these after you register and will be prompted to submit them.

Archery Skills Camp is $375 per camper.

Camp cost includes all meals, instruction and activities, campsite, and facilities.
Scholarships are available through our scholarship application when completing the registration form.
Cancellations made up to 48hrs in advance of the camp start date will be refunded, minus a 20% administrative fee. No refunds will be issued for no shows. If the Preserve cancels our camp for an unavoidable reason, refunds will be issued.

Yes! It is our hope that everyone can come to camp so we do have scholarships available.
How to apply: Please complete a registration form and select the scholarship option. The scholarship application will follow!

Once you submit your registration you will receive a confirmation email right away containing your camp schedule, mandatory forms, and road pass information. If you do not, please reach out right away.
If you have applied for a scholarship we will be in touch after your reviewing your application.

Jack Creek road is a private road managed by Moonlight. We will send you a road pass with a gate code to use when bringing a camper to Jack Creek Preserve for camp!
The road to camp is a rough and uneven dirt road, a higher clearance vehicle is recommended.

Your camper will need the bowhunter student manual which can be found here!
We will also be mailing your camper a bowhunter education manual that they will need to bring to camp!
